Mystetska biblioteka is a municipal project in Lviv curated by ist publishing

Welcome to Mystetska biblioteka – a cultural institution of a new format which is dedicated to the analysis, collecting, presenting and recognition of publications on art, art books, photobooks, self-published books, zines and limited edition artworks.

Mystetska biblioteka has a wide collection of books and periodicals in the field of contemporary art, architecture, design, photography, art theory and history, and related disciplines. Besides, the range of the library includes books of Ukrainian and world fiction and books about art for children. The library is in addition especially focused on art books and exclusive editions about art. The multifunctional space in the centerof Lviv combines a unique collection of books, a reading room, a lecture hall, a coworking space, an exhibition space a coffee shop and a workshop studio.

The curated programme of the Mystetska biblioteka is developed by the team of the Ukrainian press ist publishing. 

A series of public events is centered around the topics of creation and history of the art book as an object. The library's activities include exhibitions, lectures, public readings and workshops with leading experts in the field.
