Presentation of the book by critic Borys Filonenko — ‘Culture Under Pressure’

While human hands and a special machine are cutting holes in the cover and pages of the of the book at the KOLO printing house, ist publishing invites you to the presentation of the collection of texts by critic Borys Filonenko ‘Culture Under Pressure’ on November 2 at 19:00 at The Naked Room gallery.

The publication consists of 11 texts published in various media in 2020–2024. Their topics are art in times of excess and exhaustion, the historiographical turn, the avant-garde and the dinosaur bone, ateliers and shelters, volunteering and broad social connections, the role of artists in a dangerous environment.

Welcome drinks, a book with the smell of fresh paint, a speech by the author and a discussion are included.
